Blackduck
Lake is about 2600 acres, 2 1/2 miles by 3 miles. It is a
fairly shallow lake. At its' deepest point, it is about 20 to 25
feet. With a sandy bottom, bays and bars, it has good structure with
an island in the center. The island is a bird sanctuary where bald
eagles nest each year.
Blackduck Lake is known for its' great walleyes, northern, and
jumbo perch. It is a great opener lake, as it warms up early. We
have a bench at the end of our long dock for those who prefer to
stay ashore! When you bring in your catch, use the fish house to
fillet those trophies. Better yet, take advantage or our Tomahawk
Fishing Guide Service and our new Fishing
Report! If your looking for Giant Black Crappie we are
only 30 minutes from Red Lake.
Don't miss the walleye opener on Red Lake in the spring of 2006.
After being closed to walleye fishing for many years Red Lake is
sure to be a fantastic walleye fishery. |
